Hi there!  My name is Jenn, and I am so excited we are going to be great friends!  

From the time I can remember our family always surrounded ourselves with food.  Food to celebrate holidays, food to mourn, or food just to gather.   I grew up with Sunday dinners where we all gathered around to eat, laugh, and stay connected.  So much so, that my cousins were like my siblings because we were always together.   I always knew that I would raise my family with the same connected soul surrounded by extended family and centered on food.

Family

I married my high school sweetheart, Kevin, over 32 years ago. He is my best friend and makes me laugh daily.  We raised four amazing people together that are kind, generous, respectful, and loving.   And yes, we still have Sunday dinners we fondly referred to as Super Supper Sundays with family.   While I work full time in professional sales, cooking has always been my passion and my greatest expression of love for others.

The Goal

The Goal of this food blog is to inspire you to take on the challenge of creating an experience for your family with fresh, unprocessed, food that delivers big bold flavors and is memorable.     I have been serving dishes this way for decades now, and the effort has always paid off big! Even working full time, with a bit of meal planning and smart execution you can deliver amazing food from scratch, save money from eating out, and create lasting memories.

So, after years of serving love on a plate to my family and my friends, I decided to take their urging to heart and start FOOD DEVOTED.  I am DEVOTED to share with you the amazing dishes that have captured our hearts, and that we eat in our daily lives.   All of these recipes are from the soul and are tested, and family-approved ❤!
